The Zenmuse X7 camera is compatible with DJI’s 24mm f/2.8 ASPH LS Lens. When shooting in low light, the aperture widens to allow for maximum light passage; alternatively, it can be closed to diminish depth-of-field for an enhanced bokeh effect. Included are a balance ring and lens hood.

Professional primary lenses specifically made for aerial photography are the DJI DL/DL-S lenses. These lenses can improve stability when filming by reducing the payload of the gimbal and camera thanks to their lightweight carbon fiber housing. Variable focal length lenses can be fitted on the Zenmuse X7 using the DJI DL mount (diameter 58 mm). When capturing photos with the Zenmuse X7, the focal length multiplier is set to 1.5.
